9.5 — NEAR GEM

Almost perfect. One nearly invisible flaw.

  • Centering: 60/40 front · 80/20 back
  • Corners: Sharp, faintest touch allowed
  • Edges: Clean, minimal wear
  • Surface: Near perfect, tiny imperfection

9 — MINT

Outstanding card with a minor flaw visible under close inspection.

  • Centering: 65/35 front · 85/15 back
  • Corners: Light touch on 1-2 corners
  • Edges: Minor wear visible
  • Surface: Small scratch or print spot

8.5 — NM-MINT+

Excellent card with slight imperfections.

  • Centering: 70/30 front · 90/10 back
  • Corners: Slight wear on corners
  • Edges: Light edge wear
  • Surface: Minor surface issues

8 — NM-MINT

Great eye appeal with noticeable but minor wear.

  • Centering: 75/25 front · 90/10 back
  • Corners: Visible corner wear
  • Edges: Some edge whitening
  • Surface: Light scratches or print lines

7 and Below

Cards showing increasing levels of wear.

  • 7.5 NEAR MINT+ — Above average with moderate wear
  • 7 NEAR MINT — Solid card showing honest wear
  • 6.5 EX-MINT+ — Visible wear but still presents well
  • 6 EX-MINT — Moderate wear throughout
  • 5 EXCELLENT — Significant wear in multiple areas
  • 4 and below — Heavy wear, creases, or damage may be present
